Muslims should not fear Umno-PAS pact, says Annuar Musa

MALAYS in Kelantan should not be alarmed if Umno and PAS were to form a pact as such an arrangement would be beneficial to all parties, said Umno information chief Annuar Musa, Utusan Online reported today.

He said Malays should instead worry about DAP, which he claimed was anti-Islam.

Annuar claimed DAP feared an Umno-PAS pact because the party did not want to see Malays and Muslims united.

“We (Muslims) don’t have to be worried if Umno and PAS were united. DAP is the one who should be worried because it does not want Muslims and Malays to be united.

“Umno and PAS are both Islamic… why should we continue to argue and fight? For example, the state of Kelantan is lagging behind because we cannot stop fighting,” he said during a talk at the Kota Bharu Polytechnic last night.

Annuar had said on Tuesday that Umno’s doors were still open to PAS even after it was openly snubbed by the Islamist party.

  • EVERYONE should be afraid. Hudud in a Kleptocracy is a disaster. It's Nazi Germany, it's Communist state. Abuse of power, theft, collapse of economic. Pretty sure it's neither halal nor Syariah.
