Time to kick out stupid politicians

THE senator from PKR was totally off tangent when he suggested that men should be protected from being seduced by women. It is undoubtedly a case of blatant ignorance, male chauvinism and stupidity all rolled into one.

New Malaysia has yet to weed out the socio-political miscreants like him from our political landscape. We expected a new breed of politicians who will focus on raising the standards of living for all Malaysians but we keep getting short-changed by these kind of stupid political suggestions.

The expected change is still on a roller-coaster ride although we are now well into New Malaysia’s second year. Time is of the essence and those in the present corridors of power must take heed. It is beginning to be cause for worry.

The promise of making the rule of law supreme is hitting road bumps constantly and consistently. The inability of these miscreant politicians to think, say and debate issues of mature substance relevant to enhancing the aspirations towards a firm application of the rule of law is lacking in great depth. It is disheartening.

Why then do we allow such incompetence?

Why are we not having the right people on board striving for fairness, equality, raising the quality of life for all Malaysians and so on?

Is it that these incompetent miscreants are normally loyal followers who will toe any line set by their leaders?

Why are their extreme views and statements not alarming enough to warrant a removal? Are they indispensable?

Our system of parliamentary democracy needs to reform swiftly if we are to sustain the aspirations for a new, stronger, vibrant and competent Malaysia.

The future lies in choosing mature and rational politicians who will embrace the objectives of making the rule of law supreme in tandem with natural justice.

They must embrace the fact that we are a pluralistic and multicultural society that has all the ingredients of an exciting melting pot. They must become the catalyst for us all to attain our maximum potential.

Our next generation will reap all the benefits of a vibrant and progressive nation, that is if we get it right as the opportunity is here and now. Hopefully our politicians will deliver the goods.

Fairness and competence in the workings of the rule of law within the expected realm of social decorum coupled with high morals, in line with natural justice, will ensure our parliamentary system of democracy will achieve the aspirations of New Malaysia without the deviation and distraction of stupid politicians. – August 2, 2019.

  • Chauvinism grows out of education, religious as in this case. The root cause should be tackled and corrections made to ensure such idiots will not appear again.

  • Pal, me thinks the senator is the least of the problem at hand now.

For I dread even more, the machinations that are happening at the background (with you-know-who at the helm). You're worried about one senator; you may not even have this entire govt, if the players bet on the wrong piece of chess.

  • Idiot! ........ I'm all for being seduced by women (and a lot of hot blooded young men will agree).......... but poor me was never so lucky!!!

Maybe he is impotent ..... so it doesn't make a difference to him.

Enact such a law and PH will lose the votes of the 18-40 yrs old!!!!
