FEDERAL Territories Minister Khalid Samad will sue an Umno activist over claims that the former is dishing out contracts in the federal capital without tenders.

The activist, Zaharin Mohd Yasin, who is also a blogger, said in a Facebook post that Khalid also cancelled tenders awarded by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) tender committee.

“Wait for the (demand) letter from my lawyers,” said Khalid in response on Facebook.

The Amanah leader said Zaharin’s post only confirmed his belief that there are hidden hands in DBKL releasing documents.

This is after Zaharin posted a list of approved contractors in a re-tender process to build and maintain works related to rivers and ponds in the city.

“I myself have not seen this list yet but Zaharin has access to them.

“This proves there are hidden hands in DBKL” said Khalid. – January 30, 2019.
