MORE than 1,500 protesters gathered at Dataran Seni in Klang today, demanding that Dr Mahathir Mohamad sack Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department P. Waytha Moorthy within 40 days.
The rally, organised by Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia (Geras), also called for justice for Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim, the firefighter who died following violence at the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman temple in Subang Jaya.
Geras president Abu Bakar Mohamed, in his speech, urged Waytha Moorthy, who is in charge of unity, to step down, saying he is responsible for the racial tensions in Malaysia.
“We have compromised with them, give and take, but it turns out, they’ve kept taking. Now, I am asking Waytha Moorthy to quit,” he said, pointing to a picture of the minister on a banner.
“We have a social contract. I hope we learn about the nation’s history, as only then can we rise.”
The protesters held special prayers for Adib before marching from Bandar Diraja Klang Mosque to Dataran Seni.
They carried signs reading “Keadilan untukmu Adib” (Justice for Adib), and shouted “Allahuakbar”, Hidup Melayu” (Long live Malays) and “Hidup Islam” (Long live Islam).

Present were actress Ellie Suriaty Omar and Jaringan Melayu Malaysia president Azwanddin Hamzah.
Adib was seriously injured during a riot at the temple last month. He succumbed to his injuries on December 17.
Police are investigating his death as murder.
Abu Bakar said they will send a memorandum today outlining their demands to the prime minister and Yang di-Pertuan Agung Sultan Muhammad V and Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
Gabungan Pelajar Melayu Semenanjung president Zamri Mohd Isa said they want Putrajaya to form a royal commission of inquiry (RCI) to investigate Adib’s death.
“Our struggle does not end with today’s demonstration. We want the government to form an RCI. Why is the government delaying it?” he asked in his speech. – December 25, 2018.

The singular person or group of persons responsible for this is One City Developers who paid certain persons to create chaos at the Maha Mariamman Temple. They engaged or commissioned the legal advisor or company employees to pay a group of gangsters, which then resulted in the chaos at the temple.
So, here is the question....
1. What happened to One City Development? Any action taken?
2. What happened to the investigation of the One City Legal Counsel and employees involved? Were charges brought against them?
3. What happened to the 50-odd gangsters who took over the temple, and ultimately caused chaos at the temple and eventually led to the death of a fire-man?
Have the investigations on these people being done/completed? Were they charged? Can the matter be deemed closed upon their conviction?
