THE Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has raided former Felda chairman Isa Samad’s home again, this time in Nilai, Seremban.

A security guard in the housing area anonymously told Bernama that three MACC vehicles arrived at Isa’s house about 4.30pm and left two hours later.

It was understood that the graft buster was there to obtain several files and documents connected to an ongoing investigation.

Bernama could not verify the raid with MACC.

Bernama also found increased security presence around the housing area and other journalists were prevented from entering as well.

Isa was yesterday detained over Felda Investment Corporation’s (FIC) hotel purchases in London and Kuching after giving his statement at MACC headquarters in Putrajaya.

The MACC also raided his other home in Selangor yesterday, with Chief Commissioner Dzulkifli Ahmad saying it is standard procedure to search the suspect’s house after an arrest.

Isa, who has been appointed as acting chairman of the Land Public Transport Commission, was today remanded for five days at the Putrajaya magistrate’s court. – Bernama, August 16, 2017.
