As part of its investigation, a PKR division chief had been arrested and remanded for a day.

FreeMalaysiaToday reported that the man was arrested at 9pm yesterday in Kuala Lumpur.

“He is in the Kuala Lumpur PKR central leadership council. He is being investigated in connection with a Julau PKR member’s complaint,” a source was quoted as saying.

Sarawak PKR information chief Vernon Kedit had lodged a report with the MACC on October 25, urging the agency to probe into dubious registrations of Julau PKR members.

Sarawak PKR secretary Nicholas Bawin had said then that because their grouses were being ignored by the party, they were left with no choice but to take the matter to the MACC.
