Under Pakatan, Malays fighting Malays, says Zahid's wife

UNDER the new Pakatan Harapan administration, Malays are now enemies with Malays, said the wife of Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, ahead of his arrest this afternoon.

“Malays are now enemies with Malays as a result of seeking vengeance. If this continues, (our) race and religion will go to ruin,” said Hamidah Khamis in an audio statement obtained by The Malaysian Insight.

Hamidah said the clash between leaders from political families “that have ruled this country for six decades” is eroding the dignity of the Malays.

She urged PH to focus on developing the country instead of revenge.

“To PH, trust and responsibility have been given to you by Allah. Administrate this country. But alas, as we all know, there is still this spirit of vengeance,” she said.

She urged Malaysians to stand by her husband who is expected to be charged tomorrow. 

“For the sake of our children, grandchildren, race and religion… to those who are concerned about our leader, please sit tight and be patient. 

“Stay together and support our Umno president. He has been slandered. Do not sell your honour and be used by others.” 

Zahid was issued with a notice to be present at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission headquarters in Putrajaya this afternoon.

The former deputy prime minister was grilled by the MACC last week for three consecutive days, for several hours each day.

He is expected to be arrested today and charged tomorrow with graft linked to a family-run charitable foundation, Yayasan Akal Budi, which he chairs.

It was reported that RM800,000 of the foundation’s funds was allegedly misappropriated to pay Zahid’s and his wife’s credit card bills.  – October 18, 2018.

  • If Zahid and Hamidah Khamis did not misappropriate the RM800,000.00 then, there is nothing to worry about. Instead, if truly this couple really had committed such crime, then be prepared to serve the time required to redeem yourselves. This has nothing to do with Malay fighting with Malay. This is upholding the truth and if you were to use a foundation's fund illegally, then pay for it. Afraid of the truth being exposed Hamidah?

  • Very True under UMNO n BN regime CROOKS WERE HELPING CROOKS TO LOOT MALAYSIA . Hamidah stop using the word RELIGION RACE n so forth bcoz it does not suit u. After stealing n commitng crime Wear Tudung n Jubah to cover Sins is nothing new among the malays. Today Malaysians are Smart n Intelligent hamidah u cannot cheat them with ur Race Religion story. No malay is fighting with malay . All Malaysians are fighting CORRUPTION to Secure their Future Generations .
