FORMER Sabah chief minister Musa Aman arrived at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport Terminal 2 about 1pm and was met by 2,000 supporters.
Leaders from the newly formed Gabungan Bersatu Sabah also waited for Musa, who has been away from the state for the last five months, at the airport.
They included Sabah Umno leaders, Hajiji Noor, Masidi Manjun, Ariffin Arif, Rosnah Abdul Shirlin, Jainab Ahmad Ayid, and from Parti Bersatu Sabah – Johnny Mositun and Joniston Bangkuai.
Musa arrived from Subang Airport where he took a private jet to Kota Kinabalu.
The crowd went wild when Musa was whisked out of the airport, guarded by police and anti-riot personnel.
Musa is heading to the state assembly to be sworn-in as the Sibuga assemblyman before speaker Syed Abbas Syed Ali.
Musa’s supporters gathered at the arrival hall at 9.30am. News of his return went viral last night.
Sources told The Malaysian Insight that Musa left Subang Airport at 10am.
