THE number of victims at relief centres in three states remained at 278 as at 6am today.

The National Disaster Management Agency’s (Nadma) report included 99 people at two centres in Beluran, Sabah.

IN PAHANG, 101 victims were housed at one centre in Rompin.

IN JOHOR, 78 victims were sheltering at two centres – Segamat (63 people) and Batu Pahat (15 people).

Several rivers were at danger level, including Sungai Muar in Johor, Sungai Arau in Perlis, Sungai Klang in Selangor and Sungai Terengganu in Terengganu.

Seventeen roads were closed due to floods, damaged bridges and landslides, including Jalan Durian Mentangau in Terengganu, Jalan Sungai Tiang in Kedah and Jalan Petri Jaya in Johor.
