FORMER prime minister Najib Razak was admitted to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital on Tuesday after he tested positive for Covid-19.

His special officer, Muhammad Mukhlis, told a Malay daily that Najib is in a stable condition and in quarantine.

He said Najib was rushed to the hospital following a fever.

“Doctors have confirmed that the former Umno president tested positive for Covid-19,” said Mukhlis.

He thanked Kajang Prison officials for the swift treatment accorded to Najib. – November 2, 2023.
