THREE motorcyclists died when they were involved in a head-on collision with car in front of a petrol station in Kg Acheh, Sitiawan, about 70km from Ipoh, this evening.

Sitiawan fire and rescue station chief Mohd Zaki Zainol said the station received the call at 5.28pm.

“In the accident, a Proton Preve car is believed to have collided with several motorcycles coming from the opposite direction.

“Rescuers moved the victims aside after they were confirmed dead by healthcare workers,” he said, adding the bodies were later handed over to the police for further action and finished at 5.56pm.

It is understood the driver of the Preve suffered injuries but the dead have not been identified. – Bernama, August 21, 2021.
