THE nationwide “Hartal Doktor Kontrak” kicked off this morning with about 50 healthcare workers walking out of Hospital Sungai Buloh, the main Covid-19 treatment facility in Malaysia.
The strike started at 11am amid police presence in the area.
Clad mostly in black, the group held placards that read “We are future specialists” and “Specialists in the making, yet our future is aching”.
Police prohibited the striking doctors from speaking to the media. The authorities also locked the hospital gates. – July 26, 2021.

Let support our young doctors. These young men and women supposed to be the cream de cream of our education system. Yet when tbey achieved their ambition, government treats them like useless Malaysians.
