THE Covid-19 pandemic has led to a severe shortage of personal-protective equipment (PPE) for front-liners, especially doctors and nurses.
Some individuals have now stepped in to offer their services to help sew PPEs for them.
Fana Couture, a Muslim apparel store, is sewing disposable tudung for front-liners.
Hospitals, such as HKL and KPJ, have sent material, which Fana then sews into disposable headscarf. To date, they have made around 200-300 disposable tudung. – April 4, 2020.
