INSPECTOR-General of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun posted his first tweet yesterday on his official Twitter account using the handle @Fuzi_Harun, Bernama reported. 

Fuzi uploaded several photographs with the caption: “National Sports Day spirit with @PDRMsia staff and the people of Lambor Kanan, Bota, Perak”. 

He also uploaded photographs of his visit to the Maahad Tahfiz Al-Quran Masjid Lama in Perak.

“Alhamdulillah, had the opportunity to fete students of Maahad Tahfiz Al-Quran Masjid Lama during the   @HariSukanNegara  celebration in Perak today,” he said in another tweet.

Fuzi took over as IGP from Khalid Abu Bakar, who retired on September 4.

Khalid was a prolific user of Twitter, often announcing big arrests and issuing orders to his men through his account @KBAB51.

At time of writing, Fuzi has garnered 589 followers on Twitter– a modest number when compared to Khalid’s 122,000. – October 15, 2017.
