THE investigation against former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman has been completed and the report has been submitted to the Attorney-General’s Chambers, Sabah Police commissioner Omar Mammah said today.
“So now we will wait for orders over what to do next. There will be no charges yet against Musa. We will wait for orders on what to do next,” he told a press conference in Kota Kinabalu.
The police previously were not able to complete their probe after Musa had flown to London to seek medical treatment.
The former Sabah Umno liaison chief had left Sabah on May 16 and only returned on September 5.
He was sought over the criminal intimidation report lodged against him by the Sabah governor the night Musa was sworn in as chief minister on May 10.
Former Sabah Police commissioner Ramli Din noted they were not able to close the investigation as Musa was nowhere to be found.
Musa denied he was running away from the authorities and had left the country through the proper channel. – September 25, 2018.
