THE JUDICIAL review of a Sabahan man’s bid to seek a court order to start a Christian radio station has been delayed until August 8.

Sabah-born property investor Ronnie Vun Yun Heu made the application on July 13 and the case was supposed to be reviewed at the Sabah Sessions Court today.

Lawyer Nurul Rafeeqa, who is representing Vun, 56, told The Malaysian Insight that the court today decided to reschedule the review but did not provide a reason.

Vun in his application said he had consulted the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission and Communication and Multimedia Minister on approval for the radio station’s permit to no avail for the last three years.

He believed a Christian radio station would be of a great service for Christians in Sabah in terms of in-depth understanding of the religion. – July 28, 2017.
