LUXURY yacht Equanimity today docked at the Terminal Boustead Cruise Centre in Port Klang at 12.40pm.

The yacht was brought here by Indonesian police under heavy escort by local marine police teams from Johor and Port Klang.

A special team of investigators, including from the navy and marine police, boarded the superyacht soon after it docked to inspect the vessel.

It is learnt that investigators will take more than one hour to conduct their first ever probe into the yacht.

The yacht is heavily guarded by marine police and navy personnel as throngs of newsmen and photographers wait at the terminal.

The yacht is owned by businessman Low Taek Jho, allegedly the mastermind in the 1Malaysia Development Bhd scandal. – August 7, 2018.
