PAKATAN Harapan’s Sungai Kandis candidate, Mohd Zawawi Ahmad Mughni, arrived early to cast his vote at SK Jalan Kebun today.

He and his wife, Azlina Abdul Razak, cast their ballots at 9.05am.

Before leaving the polling station, Zawawi urged voters to head out early.

“I urge all voters to cast their votes early. It’s better to vote early. I’m worried that there might be a change in the weather in the evening.”

The PKR member, fondly known as “Ustaz Zawawi”, said he hopes that voters choose the right candidate.

“I hope they will fulfil their responsibility today, and choose the right candidate.”

The by-election for the state seat sees a three-cornered contest between Zawawi, Barisan Nasional’s Lokman Noor Adam and independent candidate K. Murthy. – August 4, 2018.
