ANWAR Ibrahim’s health does not pose a problem for him to contest the PKR presidency in the next party polls.

Lembah Pantai MP Fahmi Fadzil said the PKR de facto leader is recovering from surgery in Turkey.

“His health condition is not a problem… he is now recovering and being monitored by doctors,” he told reporters at an Aidilfitri open house in Lucky Garden, Bangsar, yesterday.

He said he supports the proposal by deputy Youth chief Dr Afif Bahardin that Anwar contest the president’s post, as this will prepare him for his return to Parliament and subsequently becoming the nation’s eighth prime minister. – Bernama, July 15, 2018.

  • So this Fahmi is a qualified doctor who has done a full check on Anwar? No, then please dont make statements you are unable to back up with facts. All elected officials should have a proper and thorough health check as soon as possible to ensure they can stay the course till the next GE.
