THE announcement of the Pakatan Harapan leadership earlier today should put a stop to all questions and talk of disunity within the opposition coalition, said Mohamed Azmin Ali.

The PKR deputy president and Selangor menteri besar believes that the line-up has what it takes to face the 14th general election and fulfil the aspirations of the people.

“I am confident and pledge my support and my commitment towards Tun’s leadership towards realising our struggle to capture Putrajaya,” Azmin said in a statement today, referring to Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who is the new PH presidential council chairman.

“His appointment is significant towards strengthening the coalition, as well as giving it direction and focus ahead of GE14.”

The other two top posts are Anwar Ibrahim as de facto leader and PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as president.

Azmin, meanwhile, occupies on the four vice-presidential posts.

PH overcame a major hurdle early today by finalising its leadership structure after months of bickering among the opposition parties.

“I wish to congratulate Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed on his appointment as chairman after garnering huge support from Pakatan Harapan members,” Azmin added. – July 14, 2017.

  • Messrs. Azmin whose name encompasses all (A to Z) is spot on. Treat your whole new PH-team for the sure thingy of this summer blockbuster: War for the Planet Ape. All PH fellas must fully appreciate-cum-internalise unity for the dignified survival and healthy growth of Malaysia alias BolehLand forward. If apes could do it #ApesTogetherStronger, there ain't no excuse why Puak PH (PH tribe) can't do it better.
