Najib to be charged tomorrow over SRC case

NAJIB Razak will be brought to the Kuala Lumpur High Court tomorrow to be charged, following his arrest today in connection with funds from SRC International Sdn Bhd found in his private bank account.

The 1MDB task force said the former prime minister was arrested at 2.35pm at his private residence in Jalan Langgak Duta, Kuala Lumpur.

“Mohd Najib will be charged on July 4 at 8.30am at the Kuala Lumpur court,” the task force said in a three-paragraph statement. – July 3, 2018.

  • The day Malaysians have been waiting for. JUSTICE long overdue. Please make sure he is convicted and put behind bars for a long time. He, his wife and those involved in looting the country must be punished and made to pay back every single sen robbed from Malaysians.   • Due process must be followed. He will be charged in Court tomorrow and bail will be applied. He will be out and await trial.
