Najib's stepson arrives at MACC to assist in 1MDB probe

RIZA Aziz, the stepson of former prime minister Najib Razak, arrived at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission headquarters in Putrajaya today at 1.35pm to assist investigations into 1Malaysia Development Bhd.

The film producer and co-founder of Red Granite Pictures, a Los Angeles-based company, was ushered into the MACC building by his team of lawyers where he is expected to give his statement at 2pm.

Riza is said to be a close friend of fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho, who allegedly masterminded the theft of billions of ringgit from the state investor, some of which was used to fund The Wolf of Wall Street, which Riza produced. – July 3, 2018.
