Gerakan deputy Youth chief Andy Yong said that despite many having written the party’s epitaph, he believed the party could draw inspiration from DAP, which he said had captured Putrajaya with its Pakatan Harapan partners despite its many setbacks.

Cannot believe they are so naive..Lim Keng Yaik actually predicted Gerakan's demise. The 'crazy doctor" actually said it to close friends a few times and these jokers are still oblivious like Najib.

Working with UMNO under BN is harakiri for Gerakan. While umno does offer some strength to help Gerakan win Malay voters - it is unfortunate that many umno leaders take an extremist position on Ketuanan Melayu & Islamization. This extreme position insults Gerakan and cut-off it's legs. The non-malay and non-Muslim can never accept being insulted especially by UMNO. I have confidence Gerakan will return stronger as a multi-racial political party. Recruit younger and professional members into the party

Eventually they may hopefully be bigger than UMNO and Bersatu which are racist parties or even PKR which is turning UMNO-like .....
