THE father of Mongolian interpreter Altantuya Shaariibuu, who was killed by two policemen in 2006, wants the Attorney-General’s Chambers to reopen the murder case.

Dr Setev Shaariibuu is in Malaysia to discuss this with Attorney-General Tommy Thomas today, and is also likely to meet Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad on the same matter.

  • Yes, the case should be re-opened and proper trial be conducted. The deceased and her family deserve justice and Malaysians want to know the truth. The culprits must be punished. No one is above the law.
