The match is not between Razaleigh Vs Zahid Hamidi but those that support them.. It will be very telling what UMNO rank and file wants to be - how may leans left and how many leans right and how far right. If I were to take a guess, it would be right - overwhelmingly right.

Six and half a dozen. Nothing to watch.

Personally, I think Razaleigh will make a stronger opposition to better check the future excesses of PH, if any. In the 1987 contest, many non-Malays favour the prince. Tun was viewed, rightly, as an ultra racist.

UMNO does not need another Ku Li or Comedy who will only take UMNO down the same path of ketuanan, scandals, corruption, fake news and Islam all in the same breath. What they need is nothing short of a transformation, fresh faces, new blood and bold new directions in recognition of the aspiration of a fast changing, vibrant and truly multi-cultural Malaysia. In other words, ABU.
