Negri Sembilan govt looking for civil servants who campaigned for BN

Negri Sembilan Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun says the state government is looking for civil servants who campaigned for Barisan Nasional in GE14 and will take the appropriate action against them. – The Malaysian Insight pic, June 3, 2018.

THE Negri Sembilan government is tracing state civil servants who campaigned for Barisan Nasional (BN) in the 14th general election so that the appropriate action can be taken, said Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun.

“Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has spoken on this and on our side we are also looking into it.

“We are tracing them. We will see what action the prime minister takes against the culprits and we will follow suit,” he told reporters at his residence today.

He was asked to comment on state civil servants whose loyalty to the new government in Negri Sembilan were suspect.

Apart from the federal government, Negri Sembilan was among the states that BN lost to the Pakatan Harapan coalition in GE14.

On another matter, Aminuddin said “mantai  perdana” will be carried out in each district in Negri Sembilan in conjunction with Ramadan and the Aidilfitri festive season.

It involves slaughtering of cattle so beef can be distributed to the needy. – Bernama, June 3, 2018.

  • Most civil servants are forced or will naturally kiss the incumbent government's butt. Since the snake head is chopped off - these cowards and/or little Napoleon - will toe the line and start kissing new butts. It would be more effective to ensure they (civil servants) are free from corruption and efficient.

  • I totally disagree wt the witchhunting against civil servants who openly campaign for BN. In the first place, you must respect each individual right to support which party they chose. Secondly, BN in the past has abused their authority by using the govt machinery to campaign for their party. So, you can't blame them in doing it. They were just following instructions from above.
