DEAR sir,
hope that this message finds you in good health.

One can only imagine – well, we can’t, really – the scale and depth of the troubles that you have landed yourself into this time.
The only consolation at this point in time that I can see is that, it is the holy month of Ramadan. You certainly could not have asked for a more suitable time to reflect on your actions.
It is quite apparent that your so-called “advisers”, who had been circling you, have done a wonderful job of leaving you in the cold.
At this moment, I can say for certain that Malaysians expect to see you answer for your actions, and trust me, the Pakatan Harapan government led by Dr Mahathir Mohamad will make sure that you get your day in court and a fair trial.
With each passing day, with more and more revelations, suffice to say you have been caught with your hand in the cookie jar. I suggest that you refrain from making any more statements trying to show otherwise, because it only adds to the ridiculousness.
You, now, must be in a very different place, and your mind must be having a tough time trying to grasp all that has happened. To that extent, perhaps, your narcissistic and deluded approach can be understood. Not accepted, but understood.
It is never too late to apologise for your actions, and the best thing, as I see it, for you to do is to pick up the phone and call Prime Minister Dr Mahathir and come clean once and for all, and admit to whatever it is you are said to have done. And for goodness’ sake, return everything to the government in an orderly manner.
This is the only way you will ever get any peace of mind, and the only way you will be able to forgive yourself.
As to whether Malaysians will forgive you, I cannot say, but should you want to walk with some pride, at least, in town without people treating you like an outcast, I suggest you do what is right.
God bless you in your inevitable upcoming tribulations. – May 28, 2018.
