FORMER prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been discharged from the National Heart Institute after a two-week stay to treat a cough, Bloomberg reports.
His aide, Sufi Yusoff, said Dr Mahathir was now on “home leave”.
Dr Mahathir was admitted to the hospital on July 15, five days after his 99th birthday.
Prior to this, he was hospitalised in January for an infection. He was discharged in March. – July 30, 2024
