DPM heads to Sabah to resolve state Umno issues

UMNO president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said he would head to Kota Kinabalu tonight to resolve issues faced by the party’s Sabah chapter.

He said he would issue a statement about the matter tomorrow.

“I will be flying … to Sabah and I’m going to issue a statement in KK (Kota Kinabalu) tomorrow,” he said after officiating MoodaFest in Kuala Lumpur today.

Media outlets reported Sabah Umno chief Bung Moktar Radin said the party was ready to work with Warisan in the state polls, while Umno Supreme Council member Abdul Rahman Dahlan reportedly said Sabah Umno has not decided whether to work with any pact in the election. – Bernama, January 7, 2024.
