COMMUNICATIONS Minister Fahmi Fadzil has requested that Bernama channel immediate aid from the Kasih@Hawana Fund to entertainment journalist Siti Nor Hafiza Kamarudin, who was reportedly in critical condition at a London hospital.

Fahmi said in a Facebook post the aid should also be given to her husband and children.

“I am closely monitoring developments on Fiza, who is in critical condition at a hospital in London.

“On behalf of the Communications Ministry, we pray for her recovery and that all matters will be eased,” he said.

Siti Nor Hafiza, 40, is being treated at Charing Cross Hospital, London, after reportedly losing consciousness at Heathrow Airport yesterday en route to Malaysia after a vacation.

The journalist, associated with the Boom Malaysia and Jurnal Malaysia portals owned by KRU Media, was chosen to receive a sponsored travel package with her family to London. She left the country with her husband and their two children in the middle of this month. – Bernama, December 28, 2023.
