JEALOUSY is believed to be the motive behind the murder of a woman who was stabbed several times two days ago in Taman Chi Liung, Klang, said Selangor deputy police chief S. Sasikala Devi.
She said initial investigations revealed that the 44-year-old suspect and the victim were lovers.
“It is believed that there was an argument between the couple over lunch at a restaurant before the suspect stabbed the woman near her car.
“So far, we have taken statements from two witnesses but investigations are continuing,” she told reporters at Selangor police headquarters today.
