THE three-day event to mark the unity government’s first year in power kicked off today at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
Among the attractions at the event are the Royal Malaysia Police counter offering discounts of up to 50% on traffic summonses, registration counters for the Rahmah Cash Aid and Cuti-cuti Cikgu holiday programme, free breast cancer and cervical cancer screenings, and a counter promoting the anti-sexual harassment campaign.
Discounts of up to 30% on various goods are available at the Madani Mega Sale, which involves 226 traders including entrepreneurs.
Later today, Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi will launch the MyNext technical and vocational education and training (TVET) programme and witness the document exchange in the signing of the TVET Transformation Memorandum.
Those looking to attend the programme today have been advised to use public transport to avoid traffic congestion as the Malaysia Cup final and the Junior Men’s World Cup Hockey Tournament will be held at the same venue tonight. – Bernama, December 8, 2023.
