He arrived with his delegation at KLIA Terminal 1 at 8.55pm on a commercial flight, greeted by the Foreign Ministry’s chief of protocol Mohd Aini Atan.

Tomorrow, Kalbuadi Lay will join a four-eyed meeting with Plantation and Commodities Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Fadillah Yusof to discuss bilateral ties and international issues.

Kalbuadi Lay, who is also Timor Leste tourism and environment minister, will then meet his Malaysian counterpart Tiong King Sing to discuss potential collaborations in the tourism sector.

Bilateral trade between Malaysia and Timor-Leste reached RM384.48 million in 2022, an increase of 93.3% compared with 2021 (RM194.09 million). – Bernama, December 3, 2023.
