ABDUL Wahab Kadir Jailani, the Community Communications Department (J-Kom) officer implicated in a lewd video scandal, has verified the identity of the alleged mastermind with the police.

Wahab was in Bukit Aman today for nearly three hours to give his statement.

His lawyer Faizal Rahman said the main purpose of the police interview was to determine the identity of “Mr H”.

Wahab evaded all journalists.

A fortnight ago, a recording of a video call between Wahab and J-Kom director-general Mohammad Agus Yusoff in which they allegedly discussed lewd acts went viral.

Agus and Wahab alleged the video was doctored and that they were being targeted by a Mr H – also a J-Kom officer.

Faizal informed police of Mr H’s identity, and police have questioned the person.

Wahab was supposed to meet police on Sunday but missed his appointment due to severe depression, Faizal said.

Asked about Wahab’s, Faizal said his client was being medicated.

“He is riddled with fear, but his condition is stable,” the lawyer said.

Faizal said Wahab would also lodge a police report over the incident, but did not elaborate. – November 29, 2023.
