PKR Youth wants police to arrest a social media user who allegedly issued a death threat against Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

Its deputy chief Kamil Munim said the TikTok user had posted a statement offering RM5 million to anyone who can “gun down” Anwar, ministers, and DAP members.

“The Putrajaya PKR division has lodged a police report this afternoon, we hope the authorities will immediately carry out an investigation and arrest the culprit.

“We believe the comment was made in the past couple of days, but it has since been taken down. Nevertheless, we have a screenshot of the comment,” he said to reporters on the sidelines of the PKR National Congress 2023 in Putrajaya.
