DEPUTY Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s health is improving and will return to work soon, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said.

In his speech at the opening the Rural Entrepreneurs Carnival KUD@Putrajaya 2023 today, Anwar said he had visited Zahid at his home before heading to the event.

“I would like to convey greetings from Zahid, who is getting healthier. Alhamdulillah he has improved.

“He wanted to come along here, but I ordered him to stay home because he needs to rest,” the prime minister said.

In a posting on his official Facebook page, Zahid has expressed his eagerness to return to duties and give his best in fulfilling his responsibilities and thanked Anwar for visiting him.

“May this bond of brotherhood continue and bring goodness together for the people and the country,” he said.

Last Sunday, Zahid’s daughter Nurul Hidayah informed that her father’s health condition was good after undergoing a surgical procedure. – Bernama, November 25, 2023.
