PRIME Minister Anwar Ibrahim said he was happy with Malaysia’s achievements at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) conference as the country secured RM63.02 billion in proposed investments.
Anwar in a Facebook post today said Malaysia made clear its stand on the Israel-Palestine conflict and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
“Our message was easily understood and clear, stating the killing, aggression and atrocities in Gaza by the Zionist regime of Israel must stop,” he said.
Anwar said Apec must remain a platform for countries to gather and develop strategies to stimulate the economy and maintain strong cooperation and mutual respect.
He was in San Francisco from November 13 to 18 for the Apec summit. – Bernama, November 23, 2023.
