ABOUT 20 stalls were destroyed in a blaze at Uptown Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, last night.

A spokesman for the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department said it received a distress call at 8.34pm and a team arrived at the scene at 8.43pm.

The spokesman said upon its arrival, the row of stalls was already 90% destroyed and a building housing a gym was 50% burnt.  

“The fire did not involve any casualties and firemen from the Sungai Buloh, Kota Anggerik and Damansara fire and rescue stations are working to put out the blaze,” he said. – Bernama, November 21, 2023.
