DEPUTY Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is in good health after undergoing a surgery yesterday, according to his daughter Nurul Hidayah who also expressed gratitude to all for their concern and prayers for her father’s recovery.

“Alhamdulillah, abah (my father) is well after the procedure yesterday, which was supposed to be done earlier (but it got delayed) due to time constraints and a packed schedule.

“This is the best time for the family to encourage him to recover,” she said in her Instagram post today.

Nurul Hidayah said Zahid, who is also rural and regional development minister, has a high fighting spirit.

“May Allah reward his sacrifices and service to religion, society and the country,” she said.
