POLICE recorded the statement of Kepala Batas MP Siti Mastura Muhammad today following her speech which allegedly slandered DAP leaders.

Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department director Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain said the investigation was conducted by the Classified Crime Investigation Unit under section 505 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.

“The public are advised not to make speculations as they could affect ongoing investigations,” he said in statement tonight. 

In a video recording, Siti Mastura alleged that DAP veteran leader Lim Kit Siang is a cousin of communist leader Chin Peng during a political ceramah in Kemaman, Terengganu. – Bernama, November 14, 2023.
