THE salary deduction for the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) loans can now be done through Portal Majikan Online, chief executive Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid said. The portal could also be used for the National Education Savings Scheme.

“The service provides a platform with a simpler data verification and review process, with the whole process done digitally,” he said in a statement today.

Meanwhile, Dasuki said the portal is a digitalisation agenda towards more efficient and effective services.

“With the portal, employers can make their transactions at easily, efficiently and safely,” he said.

He hopes that employers can assist PTPTN borrowers, to make repayments through salary deductions and enjoy the discount given by the government.

“The government, through Budget 2024, agreed to give a 15% discount for PTPTN repayments through salary deductions from October 14 to March 31, 2024,” he said. – Bernama, November 14, 2023.
