New Straits Times reported that three Form Four students were involved in the bullying incident where they were beaten up by five Form Five students.

Meanwhile, the MCKK parent-teacher association (PTA) expressed its regret over the incident.

The group, in a Facebook post, expressed regret that the family of the bullied student’s took to social media to air their grievances about the case.

It said that the post had made a big impact and damaged the school’s good reputation.

The statement said the PTA was aware that MCKK had investigated the bullying incident and taken appropriate action.

“The stance among other things is that action taken by the school need to be respected based on due consideration that has been given to the welfare and goodness of all. Besides, the school has complied with all proper procedures in making decisions.

“We are aware of the threats made viral from this case in a letter sent by a group of parents of Form Four students – should the school fail to change its decision and action pertaining to the students involved.

“We condemn the attempted intervention of the parents involved in the management of the school,” the statement said. – November 6, 2023.
