POLICE on Tuesday arrested two local men suspected of hacking into a fast food outlet’s digital menu to say “Proud Sponsors of Israeli Terrorism”.

Selangor top cop Hussein Omar Khan said police received a report from the fast food outlet manager about the digital menu being changed to show blood, bombs and bullets.

“An investigation paper was opened under section 504 of the penal code and section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955, leading to the arrest of two men aged 26 around Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur,” he said in a statement today.

Both men have been remanded until Sunday, he said. – Bernama, November 3, 2023.
