EFFORTS being taken to address bullying in schools and measures to tackle cyber crimes are among the topics that will be discussed in the Dewan Rakyat today.

Muhammad Bakhtiar Wan Chik (Balik Pulau-PH) will, during the question and answer session, ask the education minister on bullying in schools.
At the same session, Muhammad Ismi Mat Taib (Parit-PN) will ask the home minister on the steps taken by the government to strengthen the police force in terms of equipment and capabilities in dealing with the latest in cyber crime trends.
Hasni Mohammad (Simpang Renggam-BN) will ask the finance minister to state the government’s initiative to promote Islamic Green Finance to support part of the funding required for the country to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and also the National Energy Transition Roadmap.
Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff (Rantau Panjang-PN) will direct a question to the women, family and community development minister on the number of children under the supervision of the Social Welfare Department who are still without identification documents.
After the session, the Dewan Rakyat will resume with the policy-level winding-up debate of the Supply Bill 2024 by several ministries.
The winding-up session began on Monday will be for four days. This will be followed by a 12-day debate on the bill at the committee level from November 6.
The Dewan Rakyat sits for 32 days from October 9 until November 30. – Bernama, November 1, 2023.
