THE September 2023 Electoral Roll, which was verified and gazetted today, would be open for review until November 22, Election Commission (EC) secretary Ikmalrudin Ishak said.

He said the supplementary electoral roll contained 42,699 names of citizens aged 18 and above between September 1 and 30, who were automatically registered.

It also contained 6,652 names of registered voters who changed electoral divisions and 1,386 names of voters who changed their voter status/category, he said in a statement today.

He said the EC provides five review methods – through the EC portal or its review portal, state election offices portal, or the online app.

Ikmalrudin said checks could also be done through the MySPR Semak mobile app or the Voter Registration Check hotline at 03-8892-7218, he said.

Ikmalrudin urged citizens who turned 18 between September 1 and 30, and voters who applied for a change of electoral division or status, to check their names in the electoral roll.

Those whose names were not listed can make a claim by filling Form C on the website or by visiting their state election office, he said. – Bernama, October 24, 2023.
