Unhealthy air readings in 2 areas

ONLY two areas in the country recorded unhealthy levels in the Air Pollution Index (API) nationwide as of 10am today.

Bukit Rambai in Malacca logged a reading of 154 while Larkin, Johor registered 120.

An API reading of 0-50 is categorised as good, 51-100 (moderate), 101-200 (unhealthy), 201-300 (very unhealthy) and 300 and above (hazardous).

Fifty-six monitoring stations across the country recorded moderate API levels while nine areas had good air quality. – October 11, 2023.
