ONLY 54 of the 222 members of parliament have undergone a health screening as of October 2, Dewan Rakyat Speaker Johari Abdul said.

He said MPs who have not had their health checked are urged to do so at once.

“Please be reminded that the deadline to have a health screening is October 31. Honourable members are encouraged to reach out to the parliament doctor for details regarding the screening,” he said in the Dewan Raykat today

Johari said the MPs could go to the healthcare facility of their choice but the medical records must be submitted to the parliament health officer for documentation.
