THE Selangor government has agreed to declassify the full report on last December’s landslide at the Father’s Organic Farm campsite in Batang Kali.

Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari said the decision was reached at the executive council meeting yesterday, and the report would be returned to the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) for further action.

“We will return the report to Nadma for it to display on its website or for distribution to other parties.

“One thing for sure is that the report is a technical one explaining how the landslide occurred,” he told reporters in Shah Alam today.

Amirudin said the names of the campsite owners were also listed in the report.

The landslide, which occurred around 2.30am on December 16, 61 people were rescued while 31 died. – Bernama, October 5, 2023.
