PRIME Minister Anwar Ibrahim is expected tomorrow to answer questions in parliament on the court decision to grant Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi a discharge not amounting to an acquittal (DNAA).
Minister of Law and Institutional Reform in the Prime Minister’s Department Azalina Othman Said said Anwar would probably reply at 2.30pm.
“Kota Baru (Takiyuddin Hassan) has asked whether the Prime Minister will be anwering. If you are present, he will be replying, God willing at 2.30pm to 3pm.
“So, the questions can be directed to the prime minister, but our commitment is that we need to act fairly,” she said when winding up the debate on the mid-term review of the 12th Malaysia Plan in Dewan Rakyat today. – Bernama, September 18, 2023.
