THREE women were killed and 11 other people, including four children, were injured in a road crash that occurred yesterday evening in Jalan Johor Bahru-Seremban, Labis, Segamat.

Labis Fire and Rescue Station operations commander Zakaria Mohamad said a distress call was received at 5.16pm.

He said firemen from the Labis and Bandar Baru Segamat stations were dispatched to the location.

A Perodua Alza, a Toyota Hilux and a Honda Jazz were involved in the crash, he said in a statement.

“Three women died at the scene,” he said,

Two boys and two girls were among the wounded.

It is learnt the deceased were senior citizens from Simpang Renggam, Kluang and Benut in Pontian. – Bernama, September 15, 2023.
